Description

Don traditional Japanese garments as ladies can dress as a lovely maiko while men can strike a pose in a dashing kimono. Children can also take part for memorable family photos during your time in Kyoto.

Cancellation Policy

  • Any cancellations made between 2 business days (17:00 local time) to 1 business days (17:00 local time) prior to the activity will be subject to a charge of 50% of the total amount.
  • Any cancellations made after 17:00 local time, 1 business days prior to the activity will be subject to a charge of 100% of the total amount.

Hikaru Genji Plan (For Men)

Take this opportunity for men to dress up in a casual kimono and take a walk. If you're accompanying a lady doing the Maiko experience, join in for some great photos. Activity Detail

Restrictions

  • Guests who are pregnant are not permitted to participate in this activity.
  • A parent or guardian should accompany their child even if they are not taking part in the activity. You do not have to take part in the activity if you are accompanying your child.
  • All outfits are standard Japanese medium to large sizes, however for people who require larger sizes, a loose fitting dressing-style will be applied for fitting purposes.

Additional Notes

  • Please do not take photos within the studio with your own camera. However, you are more than welcome to take photos within the open space within the store. If you are traveling alone, the staff will be more than happy to help you with picture taking as well.
  • You may take home the individual photos on the day of your activity.
  • Please be advised that the staff is able to speak a limited amount of English.
