Walk to Fushimi Inari Shrine
Get off the beaten path and see a more local side of Kyoto as your guide takes you towards the next stop.
Fushimi Inari Shrine
See the famous and practically endless torii gates, as well as the shrine's many fox statues. They say that if you look hard enough, you will find one that looks like you!
In the evening, head to Gion, the geisha district of Kyoto and see it come alive at night. There are many historical tea houses which are still used by geisha and their clients today. Keep your eyes open for the maiko and geisha as they make their way to the tea houses.
