Description

Set out for Hiroshima as you visit some of the most sacred locations in Japan. Get to the heart of this country, both old and new, all with an English guide. Perfect for families staying in Kyoto! Start this all-day tour with a shinkansen bullet train ride to Hiroshima. Once in the historic city, head a bit afield to the seemingly magical Itsukushima Shrine and its torii gate. Built on stilts, the shrine and gate both seem to float on the water, a fantasy brought to life at high tide. Back in Hiroshima proper, the Peace Memorial Park and A-Bomb Dome are reminders of the country's history, and a living prayer for peace and compassion throughout the world.
