Check In/Pickup Location Details

  • From JR Kyoto Station:
    Take the Karasuma Subway towards the International Conference Hall.
    1) 10 minute walk from Karasumaoike Station.
    2) Change trains at Karasumaoike Station to the Tozai Line towards Nijo. Disembark at Nijojo Castle Station.
    *Karasumaoike Station is more convenient, though the walk is somewhat longer.

Restrictions

  • Children ages 10 and under can join with an accompanying parent or guardian. Children over that age may join on their own. Staff are always available to assist, for a fun and relaxing activity.

Additional Notes

  • Smoking is prohibited inside the facility. A smoking are is available in the garden.
  • This tour will be held only in Japanese, however for small groups, lessons can be held in simple English with English pamphlets and gestures.

Make the surface smooth with sandpaper, removing fine imperfections.

Shine and preserve your chopsticks by applying a natural oil on to the surface.

Chopstick Case
Put a paper pattern on the base chopstick case, then apply the traditional Yuzen Dyeing techniques.
