  • Any cancellations made between 3 business days (18:00 local time) to 2 business days (18:00 local time) prior to the activity will be subject to a charge of 50% of the total amount.
  • Any cancellations made after 18:00 local time, 2 business days prior to the activity will be subject to a charge of 100% of the total amount.

  • Pick-up service is limited to hotels between Higashi-oji-dori and Nishi-oji-dori (to the east and west) and Imadegawa-dori and Jujo-dori (to the north and south).

Additional Notes

  • Our services are mainly offered in English, but Chinese, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Russian, Korean and Portuguese are also available.
  • Fees for buses are included. However, for the use of taxis or hired cars there will be additional charges.
  • Meals are not included on this tour.
  • An English language Zazen meditation class is available during this tour for 2000 JPY/person, payable on the day of the tour.

Myoshinji Temple
Begin by touring the head temple of Rinzai Zen Buddhism. This massive temple contains smaller sub-temples within the grounds and around Kyoto. An optional zazen meditation class in English, taught by a monk, is available for 2000 JPY/person, payable on the day of the tour.

Ninnaji Temple
Visit the head temple of Shingon Buddhism and a World Cultural Heritage site. Ninnaji was founded in the 9th century, and for nearly 1,000 years, the head abbot was of the imperial line. Enjoy the sight of a five tiered pagoda and wide gardens on the grounds.

Fukuoji Shrine
Head to Fukuoji Shrine, built during the 17th century. The name means "good luck", so keep an eye out good things!

Kozanji Temple
Visit the home of Japanese tea ceremony, as Kozanji was the first place in Japan to contain a tea garden. Enjoy the feeling of being surrounded by nature at this quiet and serene temple that is also a World Cultural Heritage site.

Saimyoji Temple
Enjoy a stroll around the grounds of Saimyoji Temple, far on the outskirts of Kyoto. During autumn the changing leaves draw many visitors from both near and far.

Rokkakudo Hall
This small temple is located in the very center of Kyoto! Seen from the air, the main building has a uniquely hexagonal shape, and is the home to the art of flower arrangement, ikebana.
