Description
Create a scarf or furoshiki cloth wrapper using traditional shibori dyeing techniques and take home a wearable souvenir of your visit to Kyoto. Located near Nijo Castle, the Kyoto Shibori Museum is dedicated to preserving this thousand-year old cloth dyeing tradition. Often used as a decorative technique for kimono and traditional Japanese accessories, the patterns are different every time.
