Restrictions

• Children (ages 0-5 years) will be able to participate for free under the following conditions. Tour: An individual seat will not be provided. Please have them sit on the lap of their parent or guardian. If there are seats available, they are welcome to use it, however they will not be getting a priority in seating. An individual meal or snack will not be provided as well.
• Accommodations: An extra bed or futon mat will not be provided. Children sharing beds with adults are limited to 1 child per bed. If you would like any of the above for children (ages 0-5 years), please book them as a child.
• For infants 4-5 years old, please purchase a Universal Studios Japan™ 1-day pass at the location. (From JPY 5,100 as of July 2019. *Price varies depending on date of admission.)
• This is a special tour for international visitors. Please understand that residents of Japan cannot make bookings for this tour.
• Tickets can only be delivered to hotels and hostels with a 24 hour front desk. Delivery to AirBnB accommodations and private homes is not possible.

Additional Notes

• Only the transportation listed in the itinerary is included. All other transportation fees will be paid for by the participant.
• Tickets and the final itinerary may be picked up at either (1) a hotel designated for ticket and itinerary delivery, or (2) Tokyo City i. The designated Shinkansen may not be changed at the pick-up location. If the address for the tickets and final itinerary to be sent to changes after booking, please inform us at least 8 days prior to the tour departure date
• Pick-up is possible starting from 7 days before the tour departure date until the day prior to departure. Also, regarding bookings made less than 7 days prior to the tour departure date, pick-up will be possible starting from 2 days after the booking is made until the day prior to departure. Pick-up may be made only on or after the designated pick-up date. Tickets cannot be issued or changed at Tokyo City i.
• There are no guides on this activity.
• Please check your ticket and the final itinerary for the train number and departure time. Changes may not be made to the scheduled Shinkansen.
• No refunds will be issued even if the Shinkansen tickets are not used. In such cases, please use public transportation to the destination on your own.
• Changes may not be made to the scheduled Shinkansen. Customers who miss the designated Shinkansen may board a later departing Hikari or Kodama Shinkansen in the non-reserved car section only (same day only).

Dressing & Items to Bring

• From mid-May 2020, it will not be possible to bring large luggage whose total height, width, and length exceeds 160 cm onto Shinkansen. Customers with large luggage should either arrange for delivery service themselves or pay a fee (JPY 1,000, tax incl.) to station staff on the day that they board.
