Sun Moon Lake
Visit the largest lake in Taiwan located at the Nantou County. While in the area, admire the splendid views of the forest and the water. This green lake is named as such since the east side looks like the sun while the west side looks like the moon.

Embark on a tour around the lake and see the various offers of the Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area. Go to destinations such as the Ita Thao Village, Ci'en Pagoda, Xuanzhang Temple, and Wenwu Temple to gain more insight into the history of this Taiwanese treasure.

Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Monastery
Proceed to the most famous Buddhist sacred place in Southern Taiwan. Participate in a monastery walking tour, learn more about Buddhism and see the huge Buddha statue at the main shrine. At your own expense, you may also try a Buddhist vegetarian lunch offered in the area.

Depart for Kenting National Park
Kenting National Park, the centerpiece of the Hengchun Peninsula, is Taiwan's only tropical national park. Established in 1984, the park covers a total area of 33,268 hectares of land and marine environments.

Maobitou Park
Proceed to Maobitou Park and see a giant piece of coral jutting out of the sea, which is shaped like a crouching cat. Admire the magnificent ocean views and watch as waves from the sea crash into rocks along the shore.

Chuanfan Rock
Head to Chuanfan Rock, another wonder that nature has shaped for thousands of years. This 18-meter high rock formation is perfect for photo opportunities and is truly a symbol of Kenting. Admire the clean beach and pose with the landmark that looks like a sailboat sailing across the sea.

Eluanbi Park (Lighthouse)
Dubbed as "The Light of East Asia", the light of Eluanbi Lighthouse is the most powerful among Taiwan lighthouses, reaching a distance of 20 miles at most. It is open to the public all year round and offers spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and the Taiwan Strait.

Feel the wind brush through your hair at the Longpan Park. As a tableland at the tip of Taiwan, this place features panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean as well as a wide range of grassland, which is a great place for taking photos.

East Coast National Scenic Tour
The East Coast National Scenic Area, known as Taiwan's last unspoiled land, stretches 170 kilometers down the east coast. Weathering and erosion have produced a wide range of landforms here. Marvel at the fascinating landscape and rock formations of Xiaoyeliu, Sanxiantai, Shitiping, and Fanshuliao.

Stop by a Marble factory and see how different marble items are manufactured. Then, drop by an exhibition hall and see various displays that showcase both traditional and modern Taiwanese culture. Depart for Hualien in the late afternoon.

Taroko National Park
Taroko Gorge is an exceptionally beautiful, narrow ravine created by the Liwu River which has cut deep into the mountains of solid marble. A must-see in Taiwan, it is famous for its spectacular mountains and marble canyons. There are many waterfalls within the gorge, each as impressive as the last.

Shakadang Trail or Lushui Trail
Walk along trails that provide scenic views of nature. Tread along the Shakadang Trail (Mysterious Valley Trail) and observe the rock folds and plant ecosystem beside the river. Otherwise, follow the Lushui Trail which features forests, cliffs, and traces of the Japanese occupation period.

Eternal Spring Shrine (Changchun Temple)
Also called the Changchun Shrine, this landmark is a memorial shrine dedicated to the 226 military personnel who died during the construction of the Central Cross-Island Highway. The shrine is situated right above a waterfall of the same name, which never stops running.

Swallow Grotto
Enjoy sights of the Liwu River from nearly straight above the water. The Grotto trail is interspersed with tunnels and provides an opportunity to see the narrowest portion of Taroko Gorge. Focus on the pothole on the cliff faces, the Zhuilu Cliff, and the Rock of the Indian Chef while in the area.

  • Child fare is for children accompanied by two (2) or more adults. A twin room with an extra bed for a child will be provided. A child accompanied by only one (1) adult would need to be booked as an adult in the "Double Room for 2 People or More" plan. In such cases, the child will be placed in the twin-sized room.
