Fo Guang Shan Monastery
Visit the Buddhist Center of Southern Taiwan, located at the Dashu Township in Kaohsiung county. It is a popular tourist destination known for its fascinating temples. A 120-meter golden Buddha statue can also be found at the southeastern side of the monastery.

Explore a formerly abandoned warehouse that was turned by passionate artists into a local artistic hub. Pier-2 is now as vibrant as ever with different forms of art, from old to new styles, adorning this once forgotten area.

Cijin Island
Take a ferry ride to the narrow island of Cijing where you can visit the historic Tianhou Temple, with 300 years worth of history behind it. Also, grab the chance to try out the rickshaw ride along the streets of the island.

Liuhe Night Market
The last stop of the day will be at Liuhe Night Market, a must for any visitor in the area. The area has been in existence since 1950. Taste some of the best local delicacies in many of the market's stalls. Do not miss out on the papaya milk and steamed salty shrimps famous in Kaohsiung.

Maobitou Park
Marvel at the natural wonders at Maobitou, the name is derived from a rock falling on the side of the sea cliff which resembles a crouching cat. The beautiful landscape of the area was created due to years of natural sea erosion which resulted in reef columns, sea trenches, caves, and potholes.

Eluanbi Park (Light house)

Make your way to the park, a stretch of grassland along the Jia-Oh highway that is known for its limestone terrain. It also has some underground limestone caves and a distinct red soil.

Hengchun Town
This gateway to Kenting National Park is known for its clear beaches that are popular among tourists. The city was once surrounded by a wall, and about half of that is still intact today.

Also known as Yanping Junwang Temple, Koxinga Shrine is the only Fujianese style shrine in Taiwan. Explore the area surrounded by trees and admire its historic architectural designs. Don't miss the exhibits and see land deeds and money bills, among other interesting items.

Anping Fort and Tree House
During its establishment in 1624, it was known as Fort Zeelandia, an important administrative center of the Dutch regime. Also, visit the Anping tree House, used as the warehouse for the British trading company Tait &Co. Finally, board a high-speed train back to Taipei. Meal: Breakfast

  • Children of all ages can participate in this activity.
  • Child fare is for children accompanied by two (2) or more adults. A twin room with an extra bed for a child will be provided. A child accompanied by only one (1) adult would need to be booked as an adult in the "Double Room for 2 People or More" plan. In such cases, the child will be placed in the twin-sized room.
