  • Any cancellations made between 6 business days (05:30 local time) to 2 business days (05:30 local time) prior to the activity will be subject to a charge of 50% of the total amount.
  • Any cancellations made after 05:30 local time, 2 business days prior to the activity will be subject to a charge of 100% of the total amount.

    The pick-up service operates for all major hotels within the downtown Taipei city area. If you will be staying in a hotel outside of the city or one where pick-ups are unavailable, you will be contacted with the closest hotel that is available for pick-up.

  • This tour is a mixed language tour and the languages used may vary depending on the participants on the day of the activity.
  • Some parts of the tour may not be possible due to natural disasters or bad weather. Please note that even if this is the case, there is no refund.

Depart for Hualien by Train
Board the train in Taipei and depart for Hualien. If the trains are full, you will be transported to your destination aboard a tour bus.

Taroko Gorge
A must-visit in Taiwan, Taroko became a national park in 1986 and is famous for its spectacular mountains and marble canyons. There are many waterfalls within the gorge, each as impressive as the last.

Gorge Trail Walking Tour
Tread through Shakadang Trail (Mysterious Valley Trail) and get to Changchun Temple, which commemorates the 226 military personnel who died during the construction of the Central Cross-Island Highway. Next, reach the Swallow Caves and enjoy sights of Liwu River from nearly straight above the water.

Cihmu Bridge and Tianxiang
Be inspired by the story behind Cihmu Bridge or the 'Loving Mother Bridge'. Proceed to Tianxiang, a large river terrace that is also home to local restaurants as well as a bus station with trips back to the city.

Stop by a Marble Factory and see how different marble items are manufactured.

Qixing Lake
Head to Qixing Lake Scenic Area and take a stroll through the beach covered in smooth black pebbles. Appreciate magnificent ocean views as well as the great green mountains from afar. The area features recreational facilities including the Star Watching Plaza and the Sunrise Building.

Discover the world of stone art with a variety of sculptures ranging from old to new. Around the park are also many stone structures created by famed Taiwanese and international artists.
