Description

Explore NYC's Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and its influential collection of modernist paintings, photos, drawings, architecture, design, sculpture and more. Get ready for a day exploring modern art! Modernism in art was an artistic movement that began in the 1980's when traditions were set aside and artists experimented with styles and philosophy. The MoMA holds a huge collection of works from this time, as well as more recent contemporary pieces. With tens of thousands of drawings, paintings and sculptures, not to mention photography, film and design, there is so much to see and so many different pieces to uncover. Perfect for museum hounds, lovers of modernist art or those interested in design and contemporary film!
