Activity Detail

Restrictions

  • If less than 7 participants are booked, the activity may not operate.
  • Guests who are pregnant are not permitted to participate in this activity.
  • Guests must know how to swim competently in the open ocean to participate in the swimming activity. Please note that this tour can be a relatively strenuous activity.
  • Children 8 years old and above can participate in this activity.
  • Guests must know how to swim to participate in this activity.

Additional Notes

  • Please note that swimming with the whales is not guaranteed, as this is an experience in the whales’ natural environment.
  • For the safety of both guests and the whales, the tour staff will make the final decision as to whether it is safe to swim with the whales. Additionally, the staff will have the final say as to a guest’s in-water ability.
  • All guests must follow staff instructions at all times to ensure the safety of participants and provide the best experience.
  • Life vests are available upon request but are not compulsory.
  • The activity schedule is subject to change or cancellation due to weather conditions. Any cancellations due to weather will result in rescheduling. If this is not possible, a full refund will be given.
  • If whales are not sighted on the day of the tour, guests may book another experience at a 50% discounted rate on site.

  • Please call the Dive Centre between 15:00 to 17:00 the day before to reconfirm the tour's departure time. If the weather is due to change later in the day, trips can be moved forward to avoid cancellation. Your voucher has the necessary contact information listed.
  • If guests did not contact the Dive Centre and missed departure, there will be no refunds.
  • Participants 17 years old and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
