Check In/Pickup Location Details

  • If arriving by metro, please note that there are two entrances/exits for the metro. The caffe, where the tour meets, is located on the street above the metro station.
    You can take the stairs up either inside the metro station or from outside. Once you arrive to the street above the metro, face the Colosseum and then walk to your left 150 meters and you will find the Oppio Caffe on the corner and the entrance on the opposite side.

Restrictions

  • All guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID (e.g. passport, driving license) upon entry to comply with the Colosseum's security measures. Copies will not be accepted.
  • This tour is wheelchair accessible with some difficulties. Please contact support@veltra.com beforehand to make further arrangements.

  • Please note that there is no guided explanation inside St. Peter's Basilica.

Dressing & Items to Bring

  • St. Peter's Basilica and the Sistine Chapel are holy places and thus, the attire must be appropriate for the visit. Both men and women are asked to wear clothing that covers at least the shoulders and knees.
