Famous for its traditional charm and beauty, Kyoto is a popular sightseeing spot in Japan. Getting around the prefecture, however, can be a bit of a challenge for non-locals. This convenient taxi tour picks you up from your desired location in Osaka (including the port!) and takes you to Kyoto's top sites, including the Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kiyomizudera Temple, Arashiyama and Kinkakuji. You can also make changes to and customize your itinerary, to make sure that you get the most out of your one-day tour. Trust your English-speaking driver to get you to Kyoto's top attractions and serve as your guide as you explore Japan's cultural capital. *Requests for changes in the itinerary may require an extra fee.

Cancellation Policy

  • Any cancellations made between 4 business days (17:00 local time) to 3 business days (17:00 local time) prior to the activity will be subject to a charge of 30% of the total amount.
  • Any cancellations made between 3 business days (17:00 local time) to 2 business days (17:00 local time) prior to the activity will be subject to a charge of 50% of the total amount.
  • Any cancellations made between 2 business days (17:00 local time) to 1 business days (17:00 local time) prior to the activity will be subject to a charge of 80% of the total amount.
  • Any cancellations made after 17:00 local time, 1 business days prior to the activity will be subject to a charge of 100% of the total amount.

Restrictions

  • Requests for changes in itinerary may warrant additional fees.
  • A regular taxi will be provided for 1-2 passengers, and a jumbo taxi for 3-6 people.

Additional Notes

  • Children five (5) years old and under are free, but will need to sit on a parent or guardian's lap if there are no available seats.
  • Lunch is not included in the tour fee.
  • Entrance fees for Kiyomizudera (JPY 300) and Kinkakuji (JPY 400) are not included in the tour fee.
  • Parking fees at sights in Kyoto are not included.

See a scene like no other as you walk through ten thousand vermillion shrine gates. The fascinating shrine is dedicated to Inari Okami, the deity of prosperity and success. These shrine gates have been donated by companies, in hopes of getting good fortune in business.

With a spacious wooden veranda, Kiyomizudera affords its guests a spectacular view of Kyoto. The view is especially lovely during the cherry blossom and autumn foliage seasons.

Kyoto is also known for its cuisine and among the well-loved dishes is "yudofu" or hot tofu. Usually served with soy sauce and grated radish, this soft and creamy dish represents the simple and elegant taste of Kyoto cooking. *Not included in tour fee. Please pay on site.
