Take the subway to Shitennouji Temple

Shitennouji Temple
The first state-established Buddhist temple in Japan, Shitennouji was founded in 593 by Prince Shotoku and is dedicated to the Four Guardian Kings, or Shitenno. Please note that an admission fee of JPY 300 is required.

Garden of Paradise
Then, make your way to a Japanese-style garden with a pond and waterfalls. Enjoy a bowl of green tea with a sweet treat in a teahouse for 400 yen (own expense). Please note that an admission fee of JPY 300 is required.

Rokuji-Do
See the 400-year-old stone stage in front of the hall, one of the three great stone stages in Japan. On April 22, witness a performance of Bugaku or traditional Japanese court music and dancing.

Tennouji Park
Visit an urban oasis located right beside Tennouji Station. The park consists of a zoo, the Museum of Fine Arts and a Japanese garden called Keitakuen. Please note that this tour will not be going into the museum, zoo, and garden and will be viewing from the outside.

Dominating the entire city, the new highest skyscraper in Japan stands at 300 meters high, with 60 stories above ground. Have a cup of coffee while enjoying breathtaking views of the city below.
