Óbidos
Start the tour at Óbidos where you will find yourself surrounded by medieval walls. Marvel at the architecture of the buildings and sample the famous drink, ginginha.

Alcobaça
Travel to Alcobaça where the first and largest Gothic-style church in Portugal is located. Also, visit the tombs of Pedro and Inês de Castro who were famous for their remarkable love story.

Nazaré and Batalha
Continue the tour with a visit to Nazaré, a local fishing village and seaside resort. Then enter the Monastery of Santa Maria de Victoria in Batalha where you will find the tomb of Henry The Navigator, known be the promoter of maritime discoveries.

The afternoon tour continues to the city of canals, Aveiro. See the graceful boats called moliceiros going about the city, which has earned the name "Venice of Portugal". Also, sample a local delicacy called ovos moles.

Enjoy a scenic ride through the vineyards and landscapes of the Douro Valley en route to the port region. Then stop by Lamego where you can sample several local delicacies including their famous local ham, Bola de Lamego.

Finally, visit the ancient town of Viseu, the heart of the Dão Vineyards. You will tour around the city center and commercial zone.
