  • Pick-up at select hotels outside Lisbon (Estoril and Cascais areas only) is available. Please select the add-on upon booking.

Additional Notes

  • The Monastery of St. Jerome and Coach Museum are closed on Mondays, so they will be replaced Ajuda Palace or the Fundacao Medeiros e Almeida instead.
  • The National Palace closes on Wednesdays. As an alternative, you will tour the equally spectacular Queluz Palace instead.
  • You must have a printed copy of your VELTRA voucher to present upon check-in. You will not be able to participate in this activity if you only have a digital copy on your mobile device.

Begin your trip to Belem and visit the Belem Tower, a UNESCO World Heritage site mainly because of the role it played in the Portuguese maritime voyages of exploration of the era of the Age of Discoveries

Monastery of Jeronimos
Head to the Monastery of Jeronimos, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a masterpiece of the Manueline style. Enter the coach museum which contains one of the world’s most important and richest coach collections.

Alfama
Enjoy some port wine tasting in a charismatic neighborhood immersed in history. Then travel via the monumental Praça do Comercio, Rossio, the heart of the city and Avenida da Liberdade, Lisbon’s main boulevard, to Marques de Pombal square where there's some free time for lunch.

Sintra
Continue to the town where the royal family spent their summers and where you can visit the town’s National Palace. There is also some free time to peruse check the local handicraft stores or try some of Sintra’s famous pastries.

Cabo da Roca and Cascais
Cabo da Roca is the most western point of mainland Europe. Take in your view of Guincho beach, a favorite among windsurfers, and Boca do Inferno at Cascais, with wonderful views out over the coast. Explore Estoril before returning to Lisbon.
