Begin your food trip in the vibrant neighborhood of El Raval. Stumble upon a terrace bar where you will be treated to a tasting of pintxo de butifarra (bread with toppings) or salmorejo (soup made of tomato purée with bread mixture). Then head to a bodega for some ham and cheese paired with wine.

Vermuteria (Vermouth Wine Bar)
Traverse Rambla del Raval and catch a glimpse of Fernando Botero's plump cat sculpture. Stop by a vermuteria where you can take a sip of vermouth (aromatic wine) or tinto de verano (a cocktail comparable to Sangria). Enjoy with a serving of Spanish omelette.
