Participation Location Details

  • The Casa Batllo Smart Guide is an easy to use mobile device given to every visitor before beginning the visit. It allows guests to learn about the spaces of Casa Batllo through Augmented Reality. The recording lasts approximately 45 minutes.

    Entrance Hall
    Make your way to the communal entrance hall on the ground floor, leading to the Batllo family's private entrance hall. This area showcases skylights that resemble turtle shells and a spectacular wooden staircase with a banister made out of hardwood.
    Noble Floor
    This unique hall is the very heart of the house with its interesting mushroom-shaped fireplace. Continue on to the main living room window to be able to look out onto the scenic Paseo de Gracia.
    Patio of Lights
    Marvel at the house's patio decorated with different blue-hued tiles! See also the original wooden lift car that Gaudi himself installed, which is still being used today.

    Guests will receive their official Casa Batllo tickets by e-mail in PDF. Print or download the attached file with the QR code. This document will serve as your ticket, and you'll have to show it at the reception desk and must be kept during the visit. Please take note that doors will open at 08:30 for early access and it is recommended to be there 5 - 10 minutes prior.

  • This activity is wheelchair accessible, except for the roof terrace section of the tour. The activity provider has wheelchairs that are compatible with the lift's dimensions.

  • Lockers are not available. Kindly leave any luggages or backpacks at your accommodation.
  • Service animals under the owner's supervision and with the approval of Casa Batllo staff are allowed inside. Carers and service dogs enter for free.
  • Photography for personal use are allowed. No tripods allowed inside.
