Participation Location Details

  • The Casa Batllo Smart Guide is an easy to use mobile device given to every visitor before beginning the visit. It allows guests to learn about the spaces of Casa Batllo through Augmented Reality. The recording lasts approximately 45 minutes.

    Entrance Hall
    Begin the tour at the communal entrance hall as you make your way to your first stop - the Batllo family's private entrance hall. See the turtle shell skylights and wooden staircase banister made out of hardwood in this Jules Verne-like part of the house.
    Noble Floor
    This unique hall leading to Mr. Batllo's study room is notable for its mushroom-shaped fireplace. Continue to the main living room to see the large picture window looking on to Paseo de Gracia.

    Marvel at Gaudi's design of different blue-toned tiles in this part of the house. This fundamental part of the house was designed for the equal distribution of light. Still being used today, see the original wooden lift car that Gaudi himself installed.

    Find this mini-oasis in the middle of the city with its paving, tiles, and glass-coated flower pots in the exclusive rear courtyard of the Batllo family.
    Dragon's Back Roof Terrace
    See the 4 crooked, marbled, and multi-colored chimney stacks popularly known as the Dragon's Back.

  • This activity is wheelchair accessible, except for the roof terrace section of the tour. The activity provider has wheelchairs that are compatible with the lift's dimensions.
