Embark on a trip from Barcelona and visit 3 renowned wineries in the Penedes region of Catalonia. Grab the opportunity to take part in delightful wine and cava tastings with an expert guide! Travel to the Penedes wine region of Catalonia, just less than an hour away from downtown Barcelona, and discover three different wineries. Visit the Jean Leon Boutique Winery, learn about their wine making process, and taste some of their best wines. Listen to stories and find out more about the man behind the winery. Then, head to the superb Bodegas Torres winery to visit their extensive and modern installations. Learn about the wine growing process and history of the Torres family. Visit their Mas La Plana vineyard and enjoy a wine tasting paired with local cheeses. Finally, head to Freixenet winery to learn about the Cava sparkling wine production process. Tour the different rooms of the winery and take a fun electric train ride from the underground cellars to the modern production area. Taste some Freixenet Cavas with appetizers in the tasting room before heading back to Barcelona.
